Philosophy of KIC

The philosophy of KIC is built around the 'living stones' idea i.e. that in order to build communities and not crowds, everyone needs to be involved in the life of the church.

Thus people are encouraged to use the gifts that God has given them and to get involved in the life of the church in what ever way that they can - this could be preaching or teaching, leading worship, teaching at Junior Church, youth work, serving tea and coffee, providing hospitality to new people in Kampala etc.

We are a group of christians who are seeking to experience and share the Kingdom of God in todays Kampala in what ever way that is appropriate for each of us. KIC is made up of a diverse group of individuals from accross the globe, including many from Uganda and East Africa. Each member is encouraged to share the Kingdom of God in their work life, their home life, at school, with their families and with their communities.
