Zones are small community gatherings which enable people to encounter God and build strong and meaningful relationships in an informal setting. KIC started as a small family church but over the years has grown to a congregation of approximately 300 people. In order to preserve the small community feel which lies at the roots of the church, KIC has developed Zones. Zones are organized by geographical locations within Kampala where members of the congregation live. Every six weeks or so, instead of coming to Sunday worship at Heritage, people from each of the 5 geographical locations meet at someone's house to fellowship with one another and get to know each other better. The congregation at Bugolobi does not at the moment break into Zones. They continue to meet as usual as they are still small enough to retain a real sense of community.
